What is wine?  Basically, wine is simple fermented grape juice.  Grapes are crushed to extract juice, the juice is inoculated with yeasts that attack the sugar in the grape juice, converting it to alcohol and releasing carbon dioxide gas in the process.  When the sugar or a portion of it is thus converted, you no longer have grape juice, but wine.  Interestingly enough, man is not even needed in the process.  Wine could have been and probably was, a happening.  For the bloom on the grape is actually composed of yeast, which cannot help but get into the crush and begin its praiseworthy converting endeavors.  And if you like toffee candy check out toffee candy bar.
